The Truth

Manufacturing garments is not a sustainable practice, so we won't ever try to convince you it is, but there are multiple practices we've implemented to dampen our ecological footprint.

Production

We strive to have the majority of our clothing made from natural fabrics such as cotton and wool, but if a product contains an artificial fabric like nylon or polyester, we opt for a recycled variant. We also conduct stringent analyses on factories before choosing to work with them to ensure they're ethically producing our clothing. Ethical manufacturing includes but is not limited to employees earning a fair wage, having safe working conditions, and having regulated working hours. Our manufacturers must also have multiple ecolabel certifications.

Shipping

In transport, things get more tricky. It's difficult to mitigate the fossil fuels emitted by delivery trucks and airplanes. However, any factor we can control to become more sustainable will be utilized. This is why our packaging poly mailers are composed of 100% recycled plastic, are printed with soy-based ink, and are reusable.
